Onion Rava Upma


INGREDIENTS:

  • Rava - ½ cup
  • Onion - 1 (chopped)
  • Mustard seeds - ¼ tsp
  • Moong dal - 2 tsp
  • Curry leaves - few
  • Water - 1 cup
  • Salt - to taste
  • Oil - 1 tsp

STEPS:

STEP 1: In a pan, heat the oil and add the mustard seeds, moong dal, and curry leaves. Allow them to splutter. 

STEP 2: Add the chopped onion and sauté until translucent. 

STEP 3: Pour in water and add salt. Bring the mixture to a gentle boil. 

STEP 4: Gradually add the rava while stirring continuously until the mixture thickens.
